Our parent company K. Jamson was founded in 1930 as a humble shoe factory near the harbor front. The company obtained a unique business license issued by the Canadian Department of National Defense after WWII to do business on Canadian warships. Soon after a similar license was issued for American warships. These licenses stand as a testimony of the reputation and quality of K. Jamson service and products. Today we now are a company with over 80 years of rich history around the world.
In 1975 K. Jamson launched its first retail establishment in Canada. The initial leather goods store quickly expanded across Toronto and beyond the GTA specializing in luggage, leather goods, handbags and accessories. At the turn of the millennium, K. Jamson opened a 5000 ft2 themed store that boasted a scaled Leaning Tower of Pisa built within -- the largest independent luggage and leather goods store in Canada. This store was named Luggage City.
Luggage City supports local Canadian businesess and carries the biggest brands in the world including Samsonite, Delsey, Briggs & Riley, TravelPro, Verage, Heys, Guess, Kenneth Cole, LeSportsac, Pacsafe, Lug, Jansport, High Sierra, Fulton, Swiss Gear, Roots, Lewis & Clark, Secrid, Mancini, Aoking and much more!
